What is Earth Edit? Earth Edit is a selection of products and brands presenting ethical or environmental benefits. In order to provide a common framework and a consistent way to define and communicate sustainability attributes of the products across all our Brands markets, we have defined specific criteria for brands and products to be tagged as part of our Earth Edit range.
What Are The Selection Criteria?
Organic Materials
This selection includes products made of organic raw materials that are grown without the use of harmful chemicals, protects natural resources and biodiversity.
Fashion items incorporate:
- Organic certified cotton
- Organic certified linen
- Organic certified hemp
- Organic certified silk
- Organic certified wool
Responsibly Sourced Materials
This selection includes products made with raw materials that are made or grown from sources that are responsibly managed and avoid harmful practices to high risk environments.
Fashion items incorporate:
- FSC or PEFC certified acetate, cotton and linen
- Lenzing certified viscose, modal and Lyocell
- Responsible Down Standard (RDS) certified down
- Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) certified wool
- Fairtrade certified and CmIA cotton
Recycled Materials
This selection includes products made with raw materials that have been recovered to then go through a recycling process, to be used in place of conventional virgin materials.

Animal Friendly

Low Impact Production Process
This selection includes products manufactured through a process with a lower environmental impact and using less harmful chemicals, relying on recognized standards:
Fashion items are:
- Certified free of harmful materials, holding either an OEKO-TEX® or a Bluesign® certificate
- Responsibly sourced leather certified by the Leather Working Group
- Chrome-free tanned leather
- Solvent-free PU
- Cradle2Cradle certified
Pre-Loved
We aim to drive a circular fashion movement by encouraging our customers to opt for Pre-Loved products. Choosing second-hand is a way to extend the lifespan of fashion items, reduce their overall environmental impact, and contribute to more circular fashion consumption.
Organic & Natural Ingredients
This criteria is specifically for beauty products that are intentionally made with ingredients that are organic and safe for the consumer.
Beauty products are:
- Made with certified natural ingredients
- Made with certified organic ingredients
Extended Use
This selection includes products that are made to last with circular design principles and ensure consumers a long product lifespan.
Fashion items are:
- Made with upcycled materials
- Repaired or restored back to or close to its original state
Other items are:
- Refillable self-care, makeup or cleaning products
