How long have you been with ZALORA and what is your role?

I have been with ZALORA for 3 years now. I started as an intern back in August 2021, and is now a Key Account Manager overseeing a portfolio of key clients for ZALORA One-Stock Solution (1SS) Fulfillment Services.

My day-to-day activities vary widely, and include managing relationships with Brand Partners, addressing concerns, problem-solving, onboarding, business development, and project management.

Regardless of the task, my focus is always on providing the best experience for our Brand Partners, allowing them to concentrate on revenue-driving activities without worrying about operational issues.

What are some of the challenges you face at work?

My role involves being a liaison between Brand Partners and internal teams which sometimes can be challenging when there is misalignment of expectations and priorities.

Advocating for our Brand Partners while coordinating with various teams, both external and internal, requires creativity, flexibility, and a deep understanding of everyone's needs to ensure a win-win outcome.

What do you love most about your work at ZALORA Platform Services?

I thrive on the excitement of new challenges.

Whether adapting to evolving business needs or swiftly addressing legislative changes, I love the fast-paced, problem-solving nature of our work that ensures seamless business operations.

What is your biggest achievement so far at work?

One of my key achievements is the successful implementation of new services, including the introduction of bulk order fulfillment. This allows Brand Partners to use the same stock pool in ZALORA's bonded warehouse for bulk outbounds to retail stores or offline partners.

I oversaw the proof of concept for this service, but the success was a collective effort, thanks to the strong support from ZALORA's operations team, including Warehouse, Logistics, Tech, and Supply Chain.

I am immensely proud of the team behind ZALORA Platform Services.

Their dedication and thoughtfulness in crafting tailored solutions and experiences for each Brand Partner's unique challenges and needs are unparalleled.

What is not commonly known that you believe deserves more awareness from brand partners?

ZALORA boasts one of the best cross-border infrastructures in Southeast Asia, built on over a decade of experience in this complex region. Maintaining a public bonded warehouse while holding an Authorized Economic Operator license is no small feat, yet ZALORA excels in this.

Many Brand Partners are unaware of the missed opportunities that could be activated by leveraging ZALORA's capabilities.
